High wear resistance

The precise star of the Habix®plus coupling is made of an extremely wear-resistant and temperature-resistant plastic. Up to size 48, the coupling is made of high-strength aluminum; from size 65, it is made of steel.

High freedom from play

The balancing element of the flexible Habix®plus HPN or HPK coupling is the star. This transmits the torque backlash-free and vibration-damping. The high-precision star determines the characteristics of the entire coupling or drive train. The zero backlash of the clutch is ensured by the preload of the star. The Habix®plus-HPN or HPK coupling is able to compensate for radial, angular and axial misalignment. The Habix®plus coupling star can withstand continuous loads of up to 100 °C or 120 °C. When used at low temperatures, -30°C is permissible.
